We worship on Sunday Mornings at 10:00 am with a fellowship time following. This is a great time to connect with folks from the church. We celebrate the Lord's Supper every Sunday. All are welcome to this meal. If you ask, “Do they mean me?” Yes, we mean you! If needed, grape juice is served, and we have gluten-free wafers.
An elevator is located in the hallway of the educational building. Parking spaces for the disabled are located immediately outside the narthex, or gathering area.
Music is a very important part of Zion’s worship. We are always looking for guitarists, singers, and other gifted in the music ministry. We have an active Choir September to May, and it is open to all. Interested? Talk to our Minister of Music, Karl Gustafson.
During the school year, we offer Adult education, an hour before service, and children’s sunday school which is held during the service. Children are invited to class after the children's sermon, and often return before communion, during the sharing of the peace.
Sunday mornings during our scheduled worship service teenagers meet to discuss Christ in the life of youth today.
Our 6th, 7th and 8th graders learn the basics of the Christian faith, with a Lutheran focus, during the school year. Confirmation classes are Sundays at noon. We team up with the "Other" Pastor John R-H and the middle schoolers of Prince of Life, Oregon City.
Our Youth are busy fundraising to attend the "This Changes Everything" 2018 ELCA National Youth Gathering in Houston, Texas
Applicants must be baptized in the Christian faith and an active member of Zion.
